Derwen College’s original campus is located in Gobowen, near Oswestry in Shropshire.
Our Gobowen campus offers a range of vocational pathways to residential and day students with special educational needs.
As the original Derwen College site, our campus in Gobowen is the largest of our four sites. Spread over 30+ acres, you will find areas for learning, socialising, therapies and sports, as well as student residences.
When Agnes Hunt purchased ‘The Derwen’ Farmhouse in 1928, just a year after she founded the College, little could she imagine how it would have grown and changed to the award-winning college it is now.
