Essential systems maintenance 30–31 July 2024
Our network systems will be undergoing essential maintenance Tuesday 30 to Wednesday 31 July.
While this work is being carried out, there will be disruption to:
- College phone system – all incoming calls will be routed to a mobile in reception, and will not be transferable to individual members of staff.
- College emails – there will be a delay in staff replying to emails sent to college email addresses.
We apologise for an inconvenience caused and aim to keep disruption to a minimum.

Opening hours during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays are Monday to Friday 9am–4pm.

Road Closure affecting access to Derwen College, Tuesday 6 to Friday 16 August
Shropshire Council are planning to carry out essential carriageway repairs on the B5009, Whittington to Gobowen, from Tuesday 6 to Friday 16 August.
This will affect access to Derwen College’s main entrance (Entrance C), Entrances D & E, and to Agnes Hunt Village (Entrance F) from 9.30am–4pm while the work is carried out.
Shropshire Highways are providing escorted access along the road during the work, so the entrances will be accessible, but please expect delays.
Cars can access the Orangery car park, and reception via Entrance B on Twmpath Lane (unsuitable for HGVs due to small bridge).
