The Orangery in Gobowen is a training restaurant for Derwen College students.

You can visit The Orangery Restaurant each weekday 10.30am to 3pm.

At The Orangery Restaurant you can enjoy a variety of meals, weekday specials, and drinks.

Choose from a selection of starters, main courses and side dishes from our menu. A children’s menu is also available.

Accompany your meal with drinks from our range of wine, lager, cider, spirits, beer or soft beverages.

Christmas at The Orangery Restaurant

Enjoy a delicious two or three course meal at The Orangery Restaurant as part of your festive celebrations.

The Christmas menu will be served lunchtimes Monday to Friday, from 27 November to 15 December.

Vegan and gluten-free options are available, as well as traditional turkey dinner.

The price for the menu is £18.95 for two courses, or £21.95 for three courses.

Booking is essential, along with a deposit to secure your table.

 

 

Supporting students learning hospitality and food skills

Students from Derwen’s Hospitality and Food pathway learn and do their work placements in the restaurant.

By visiting the restaurant you support our students to gain key hospitality skills.

While some students will be working in the kitchen, others will be waiting-on or providing customer service at the till.

We cater for groups and private parties – please contact us for further information.
