  • Another great sporting event from July - Derwen hosted a self-advocacy group from Kidderminster called 'Our Way' and a mini-tournament was held between 2 DNS teams and their football team' Stars United. Some great football was played with goals in every game. DNS made some new friends and we look forward to welcoming 'Our Way' back in the near future. »View photo– August 19, 2014 at 2:24pm
  • In July, Derwen ran an open day for students to try powerchair football. It was great fun and over 20 students turned up to have a go. The event was run in association with Telford Powerchair Football Club who provided all the powerchairs and coaches. »View photo– August 19, 2014 at 1:49pm
  • Derwen New Saints' end of season celebration took place at The Venue, Park Hall, home of Welsh Premier League Champions The New Saints. 24 members of the DNS squad together with 4 of the coaches took to pitch for a kick about to celebrate another successful season. Following the game everyone headed into the bar for a well earned drink. TNS football in the community officer Niall Broe watched the game and commented on how well everybody played. He said that the quality of passing and football had improved a lot since he last watched DNS. He awarded man of the match to DNS' tough tackling defender Wesley MacIntyre who was presented with a computer game for his efforts. »View photo– August 19, 2014 at 11:41am
