Some of our students shared a little bit about themselves when they took part in ‘A Day in the Life of Me’ competition through PDNET – a network for those supporting learners with physical disabilities.
Students and pupils from aged four to 25 were invited to write, draw or make a video diary of ‘A Day in the Life of Me’, with the chance to win a tablet and £100 for their school or college.
All our participating students received runner-up prizes for their hard work depicting the highs and lows of a typical day.
Thanks to Maisie Thomson, Tom Stretch, Thomas Price, Rachel Pickford, Millie Clarke, Ash Beech, Dan Arton and Thomas Alexander for taking the time to offer an insight into their daily lives at Derwen College. You can watch Rachel’s stop motion animation here.
