Sassy Pink Ladies, leather-clad T-Birds, a super sweet Sandy, and an unforgettable Teen Angel named Barry Garlow were among the highlights of our dazzling summer production of Grease.
Performed by the talented Performing Arts students at The Holroyd Community Theatre, this electrifying adaptation of the classic musical had audiences clapping, cheering, and singing along from start to finish. The story of innocent newcomer Sandy and rebellious heartthrob Danny came to life with energy, charm, and a generous helping of 1950s flair.
Grease followed the highs and lows of their unexpected reunion at Rydell High after a whirlwind holiday romance. From the Greased Lightning car to high school dance, friendships and love, the performance captured all the iconic moments fans know and love.
Featuring showstopping dance routines, favourite songs and eye-catching costumes, this all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza showcased the incredible talent and hard work of our Performing Arts team.
Backed by stunning scenery and seamless backstage support, the show was not only a joy to watch but a testament to students’ and staff dedication, creativity, and passion.
Students from across college ensured an enthusiastic audience for a matinee performance. This was followed by an evening show of families, friends, staff, governors, VIPs and college supporters, including Oswestry Mayor Councillor Rosie Radford and actor and director Sam Retford.
Well done to everyone involved in making Grease such a memorable success. You truly were ‘electrifying’!
