A huge thank you to the amazing local businesses supporting this year’s Derwen Fete and Dog Show on Saturday 13 June.
We are incredibly lucky to have so much backing from our local business community. Their support through sponsorship, raffle prizes, donated prizes and running stalls at the event will help us raise funds for Derwen Charity, which provides extra opportunities and experiences for our students with special educational needs and disabilities.
From 10am to 4pm, families, friends and dog lovers can enjoy stalls, competitions, a duck race, refreshments, the ever-popular dog show and entertainer Dux on his time-travelling pedal-powered contraption. There will also be arts and crafts competitions, games, tombolas, Derwen College-made treats and a grand raffle, with some fabulous prizes – raffle tickets are still available to buy on the day.
