The purpose built accommodation is of a very high standard, with single en-suite rooms. A range of activities are organised throughout the day.
Respite Care provides an opportunity for individuals to experience a break or short holiday, with the support of experienced and qualified care support workers. Existing students at Derwen College may also take advantage of this extended provision.
The latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report dated May 2015 recognised that Derwen College achieved a rating of Good. We are delighted that the report reflects and acknowledges our existing good practice.
Accommodation is in student houses, all with allocated care support workers and sleep-in staff at night.
A plan of daily activities and meals is included, although some activities may incur an additional cost.
