Accommodation

Living accommodation at college is modern, spacious and well appointed, providing a comfortable, sociable and pleasant environment. There are also supported living opportunities within the community.

Junior and Middle College:
initial accommodation for male students, adjacent to the Medical Centre at the heart of the campus.
Thomas and Jacson Houses:
both houses have modern adaptive equipment and specially designed kitchens for introduction to life skills. These houses are for junior female students.

Kenyon House:
for female students progressing from Thomas and Jacson Houses, prior to more independent accommodation.

Kent House:
accommodation following Junior and Middle College.

Agnes Hunt Village:
a 'garden village' of bungalows where living more independently can be experienced, with appropriate support.

The Lodges:
three bungalows on campus where students also live with appropriate and differing levels of support.

Cadbury Court:
flats for those students and trainees who require support to allow a degree of autonomy and freedom of choice, otherwise denied by severe physical disability or learning difficulties.

Southlands:
a quiet cul-de-sac of independent, self-contained flats, a quarter of a mile from the College, for Derwen Enterprises trainees.

The Acorns:
the latest phase of development with ultra-modern facilities, specially designed for wheelchair access. This provides progressive independent living for those who require high levels of support.

In the community:
independent accommodation off campus, in the Oswestry area, enabling selected students to live as independently as possible prior to returning to living within their own community.
