Practical Gardening

In practical gardening we learn all about looking after small vegetable patches in the Practical Skills department gardens.

We learn all about getting the ground ready for sowing seeds right through to picking the fruit and veg from the garden.

In practical gardening sessions I have grown potatoes and tomatoes. I have also learnt how to keep insects off the vegetables so they don't eat them!
